How to take care of your body after summer?

We like to get off to a good start in September to feel better in our body, after the euphoria of summer. Even if the body routine can be applied throughout the year, here are our best tips for returning from vacation.

Dry brushing as a priority

The dry brushing brush is the key element of an effective body routine. It is even more useful in autumn to boost the immune system.

The action of the brush on the limbs activates blood circulation which helps detoxify the body. And the cell renewal process which is stimulated is effective in obtaining supple, smoothed skin and reduces cellulite.

Dry brushing reduces inflammation and rebalances cortisol levels to feel more relaxed.

How to use the dry brushing brush?

Start with your hands to pump the lymphatic glands located on your extremities (root of the neck, knee, etc.).

Use the cotton handle of the brush to make rotating movements gradually moving up the leg (towards the heart). You will gradually feel the energizing effect.

Move to the stomach, starting from the part below the navel. Bring the brush from the hips toward the groin with a downward motion. Then, for the upper stomach, brush from bottom to top to again bring the lymph towards the heart.

Use before showering for about 5 minutes, on dry skin.

Gua Sha (not only) for draining!

Gua Sha for the body , like that dedicated to the face, is the essential tool for draining and sculpting. It prolongs the action of brushing by detoxifying and improving circulation.

The muscles are also relaxed thanks to the massage. It is a real benefit for the body after more intensive training than usual, such as when returning to sport after the summer period.

Holding the Gua Sha at a 30 to 45° angle against the skin, slowly move upwards from the bottom of your leg. Repeat the gesture several times. Near the lymphatic glands, you can make smaller movements to activate them.
